The Freight and Logistics Council of WA was established in March 2009 by the Minister for Transport, to bring the freight and logistics sector and government together around one table.
The efficient and effective movement of freight is often taken for granted until something goes wrong. Freight is important to businesses as well to each of us who receive deliveries direct to our homes. The importance of keeping freight moving has been especially on our minds as supply chains have been challenged during the pandemic.
The purpose of this high-level two-way forum is to use our combined expertise to provide direct advice to the Minister for Transport, and act where agreed, on high impact issues that affect the efficiency and sustainability of freight & logistics within the WA supply chain.
This website is designed to provide information on the work of the Council and the important issues it is addressing.
I hope that you find it informative and interesting reading.
