Jayson Penn is the Managing Director of third generation family owned and operated business, Penns Cartage Contractors, which was started by his father, Gary Penn in 1968. Based in Kalgoorlie the company carries a variety of freight including general freight, bulk fuel, oversize and livestock.

Penns Cartage Contractors mainly service the Goldfields, as well as Perth, the Northern Territory and surrounding mine sites with a fleet of 22 trucks, 29 staff plus subcontractors and over 128 pieces of equipment.

Jayson is a qualified diesel mechanic and is committed to ensuring standards in the heavy vehicle industry are high, so safety is improved for all road users. He has been the WA Livestock & Rural Transport Association representative on the Remote Areas Consultative Group for many years as part of his dedication to safety, productivity and efficiency.
