FLCWA UPDATE JULY 27

  • We are in discussions with WA Police to improve the current testing regime for drivers who have travelled through VIC and NSW to make it more practical and efficient and minimise impact on operations.
  • FLCWA is engaged with the IFAM Airfreight agenda, working with the agencies of DPIRD, Austrade and the greater airfreight industry. All exporters and freight forwarders are welcome to make contact with FLCWA should they require assistance with the IFAM requirements. See this link to the Austrade site for clarification of IFAM assistance requirements.
  • We attended a great workshop with Infrastructure Western Australia last week discussing the States strategic infrastructure needs for the next 20 years.  Well done Infrastructure WA.

Infrastructure WA – Survey: Infrastructure for a stronger tomorrow

IWA has a short survey that we encourage you to complete and provide feedback on here.

Infrastructure WA is developing a 20-year blueprint for infrastructure in Western Australia. They are wanting to know how we think infrastructure could shape WA’s future. This insight will help to prioritise the types of projects, programs and policies that will benefit Western Australian communities the most as they develop Western Australia’s first State Infrastructure Strategy.

The survey closes on 21 August 2020.

– The Council will also be seeking views to provide a coordinated industry response to the ‘A Stronger Tomorrow – State Infrastructure Strategy Discussion Paper’. Further information can be found here.
