Maritime Risk Management Statement of intent

With the growing concern of possible COVID transmission across the WA port borders, the Freight and Logistics Council of WA is working with Government and Industry to ensure all stakeholders are involved in formulating mitigation strategies within the States Supply Chains.

The Freight and Logistics Council provides communication and advice between the relevant Industry participants involved in the Council to ensure industry knowledge and smarts are involved in strategy formulation.

The following Maritime Risk Statement of Intent has involved discussion with Government and Council members from the Freight and Logistics Council. The statement outlines future steps of mitigation to prevent the transmission of COVID through WA ports. The Council has provided support to Government and Industry throughout the Pandemic and will continue to provide advice and action in working through the details of implementation to ensure the prosperity of WA.
