FLCWA is seeking Expressions of Interest to Provide Freight and Logistics Industry Liaison Service

Organisation Overview
The Freight and Logistics Council of Western Australia (FLCWA) is a not for profit, Government funded organisation which provides independent advice to the State Minister for Transport on strategic policy issues impacting the delivery of successful freight services in the State. It is a forum where freight users and service providers sit side-by-side with Government policy makers to address issues of priority to ensure the efficiency and sustainability of the State’s freight system.
Services Overview
The FLCWA is seeking an industry liaison service that will:
- Promote the common interests of persons, including the Government and Government entities, who are engaged in, or interested in freight and logistics matters raised by industry.
- Facilitate forums for exchanging views between industry and Government on strategic matters impacting on the efficiency of freight and logistics activities in or impacting Western Australia.
- Identify opportunities and constraints that may impact the achievement of successful freight and logistics activities in Western Australia.
- Represent the FLCWA at Government and industry forums and groups.
- Promote the importance of successful freight and logistics activities to Government, industry and the community.
- Manage projects on behalf of the FLCWA.
The provision of the service will be weekly (averaging 16 hours per week) until the end of June 2021.
The FLCWA seeks expressions of interest from consultants outlining:
Demonstrated experience in:
- Freight and logistics
- Stakeholder engagement and relationships
- Project Management
- Boards and/or Associations
Consultants should provide:
- Resumes of proposed personnel
- Fixed fee and/or hourly rates.
