BORDER ISSUES BEING RESOLVED
The recent issues that Transport, Freight and Logistics (TFL) workers have encountered whilst attempting to obtain G2G Pass approvals are currently being addressed.
It is expected that by close of business today the G2G Pass will have been programmed to allow TFL workers to obtain a successful pass despite awaiting a test result or having been in close contact with a person from a restricted location.
The current directions are in the process of being reviewed and amended with a view of removing the requirement to submit a new application for each entry into WA.
Every effort is being made to resolve these issues swiftly and your patience is very much appreciated in what has proved to be an extremely busy week due to the S.A outbreak.
FLCWA will continue to liaise closely with industry and the COVID Industry Liaison Team to resolve issues as they arise.
TFL workers should continue their business and any unforeseen issues will be dealt with at the borders.
Information on WA’s controlled interstate border arrangement, conditions of entry and quarantine can be found here https://www.wa.gov.au/organisation/covid-communications/covid-19-coronavirus-controlled-interstate-border
Thank you very much for your understanding.
