Andrew Hathaway is the Acting General Manager Commercial and Customer at Fremantle Ports, leading the organisation’s trade, commercial, property and customer functions.

Andrew has more than 20 years of experience across port operations, commercial management, trade development, safety and customer engagement. During his career at Fremantle Ports, he has held a range of operational and leadership roles and has led complex port operations, infrastructure projects, commercial agreements and business improvement initiatives. He has extensive experience in bulk materials handling, port and marine operations.

He holds Diplomas in Management and Occupational Health and Safety, together with workplace training and assessment qualifications and accreditations. He is a member of the Kwinana Industries Council and the Freight and Logistics Council of Western Australia. In addition to his port career, Andrew has served in the Royal Australian Air Force for 20 years and has held senior leadership positions within volunteer fire and emergency services.
