2018 has been a successful year for the Council with ongoing engagement with industry, government and stakeholders on issues critical to the sector.
2018 has been a successful year for the Freight and Logistics Council of WA, with the implementation of our collaborative work program and ongoing engagement with industry, government and stakeholders on issues critical to the freight and logistics sector.
Council projects this year have addressed areas such as the protection of freight corridors, freight rail noise, container supply chain efficiency, social licence and local government access charges. For more detail on these, check out Our Work.
We are excited to bring our current members and networks from across the industry together at the end of January to develop our 2019 work program. Attendees will discuss the key strategic freight and logistics issues impacted by Government policy, which will enable us to determine the priority projects for the Council’s 2019 work program and identify and appoint members for the year.
We look forward to seeing what 2019 brings!
